Pete Owen Retires from the Litig Board

The 2026 Litig AGM on 12th March 2026 marked an important moment for the Board of Litig as we recognise Pete’s retirement following a long and valued period of service.

Pete, a founder member of Litig (incepted 28th August 2002) contributed an impressive 8597 days of service, the equivalent of 1228 weeks and 94 delegate meetings. He has made a valuable contribution to Litig over this period in a huge range of areas and will be sadly missed.

As part of the transition:

• Content responsibilities previously overseen by Pete will now be jointly led by Sarah Ainslie and Lauren Edwards

• Pete’s administrative responsibilities are being managed by Sarah Ainslie

• Pete’s Company Secretary duties will be handled by Rosemary Kind

We extend our sincere thanks to Pete for his dedication and contributions to the Board and Litig as a whole, and we wish him the very best for the future. To recognise this contribution the Litig Board have appointed Pete as its First lifetime Honorary Member.
